"Our room overlooked the River Ouse and was ideal! The views were stunning and York Minster looked majestic in the sunlight. The room was clean and tidy. The bathroom was equally clean and tidy. Staff on reception were warm, friendly, welcoming and helpful. Parking was undercover, safe and secure which was reassuring. Our only issue with parking was venturing out to Harrogate and Knaresborough for the day and not finding a parking space available in the hotel on our return! So we used Marygate car park overnight which was a delightful walk along the riverside to the next bridge. "

Drinks in the bar were great and morning breakfast was delicious and I loved the a al carte option. Spa is not to be missed, so relaxing and well worth the money"
