We really enjoyed our stay at the hotel this week. Rooms were amazing and the staff were all very cheery. Only criticisium would be with the food. Meals were gorgeous and very well presented but the bar snacks were deceiving and too "fine dining". I wanted proper nachos not some grilled flat bread. Overall amazing place to stay.

Decent size shower room and sink. Room was cleaned everyday. Breakfast with a fairly wide choices, was excellent. All staff were friendly and helpful. Olaf was a great source of information and managed the property very well. Lovely gardens front and back. Only negative which we were warned about...

Beautiful place, I had a lovely single room with a view of the west front of the cathedral, very good breakfast. I would have loved to have eaten in the Italian restaurant downstairs, but our meals were all pre planned elsewhere. Hopefully I will return one day!

Michelle is a great asset to the George Inn, She looked after us superbly on both occasions, she also gave us lots of interesting facts about the George...

A hidden gem just outside Ilchester. Lovely greeting from the owner and shown to our room in The Barn which was beautifully appointed. Had dinner and was very impressed with the quality of food , though the service was patchy . Nice hotel, stayed for 2 nights. Fantastic staff nothing was too much trouble for them. Food was lovely. The room was great tea and coffee facilities and en-suite. Even with music and patrons the room was quiet. Plenty of parking and a nice selection of drinks not just mass market. Loved the chunky furniture, would stay again for sure.

The staff at the Dorian House were fantastic. Made us feel so welcome and nothing was to much trouble.
The room was lovely. The bed was comfortable and the shower was amazing.

Overall it was probably one of the nicest places we have ever stayed and cant recommend highly enough. Looking forward to our next visit.

A lovely B&B!
The owners, Bob and Liz, are lovely - very welcoming and helpful. Our room was spacious and beautifully decorated. It had an enormous bathroom with a bath and a walk in shower. The breakfast was delicious. We really enjoyed our stay and I’m sure we will return.
