We ate at the casual restaurant on premises for lunch on arrival and breakfast the following day. A little overpriced, but expected that. Food was good. "I stayed here because we went to the theatre that was 10 minutes walk away. Close to Southampton shopping area. The hotel was very comfortable and the staff were very friendly and helpful. We had breakfast which was very good. Would definitely stay here again."

"We stayed in a family room on the first floor which was spacious and clean with a sea view. The furnishing in general was adequate but quite dated. This was reflected throughout the hotel. The bath was rusty which meant we relied on the shower which was good. The balcony door wasn’t secure with a flimsy catch. The radiator although not used was very rusty in need of maintenance. The decoration in the public areas was better in general it felt like the hotel needed a refurb"
