"Fabulous location. Very convenient for what we had planned during our stay. Nice sizable from, with balcony facing Poole Harbour...wrong time of year to take full advantage!"

"The room was large but bathroom the size of a cupboard with an over-bath shower. Water pressure for shower poor, complementary shower gel poor. The room windows were rotten with chipped paint, the iron security bar outside window was rusty. Room in general the decor was poor with chipped paint. The staff were lovely and helpful. Hats off to the photographer - the pool is very small, changing facilities awful (no private changing areas/rooms). I will not be staying here again"

"Very welcoming on arrival, lovely room clean and tidy. The bed was a bit on the small side and the shower could be a bit more powerful maybe a different shower head that is a bit more adjustable so that you can back in the bath a little. Bar lounges were excellent with lovely seating areas and plenty of space.Outside seating gave you a lovely sea view. Food was good but would possibly like to see nuts/crisps available in the bar. My one disappointment was when the draught beer was not working we had to get bottles of beer which was turning out more expensive with the cost of £6 a small bottle compared to £7 a pint, maybe in cases like this a deal should be offered. Any member of staff we came across were cery friendly and approachable. Will definitely be back Would/will definitely return"

"Booked online paid when we arrived, checkin 3pm we were upgraded . Room was clean large queenie bed only 1 pillow could see another one in the wardrobe to use only noticed when we came back in the evening. Bar was cosy staff very friendly, area for you to see outside was nice and enjoyable the early evening sun"

"Not really 4 star by its standards. If not for the amazing view this hotel could not command the prices that it does. restaurant menu very limited, staff in restaurant do not attend very promptly to tyhe tables. Decor is tired, room OK but bathroom poor."

"Great location, management is very confused from the general manager and the deputy manager who is very aggressive. I wonder how she worked in such an industry. Strange that at such a priced place, there seems not to be clear communication between the top management and the receptionists!! Very strange and unprofessional. The rest of the staff are very kind and polite, very friendly. Cleanliness not the best I have seen for that price, squeaky floors, no toilet brush, amenities are for a single person in a double roomed booking and you have to keep asking for more even when staying for more than 1 night. Other facilities are great, the swimming pool, the spa (which is chargeable even to residents). The breakfast is just okay. Seen Berger at more affordable places. Generally the stay was just comfortable and nothing much really surprising. "
