"Stayed with 10 friends with average age of 60. Photos of house interior on Vrbo are generally accurate - those on the website for Wheathill show different furniture and soft furnishings. Overall1930s shabby chic vibe is very nice and as expected. Good location in rural residential area10 mins walk to nearest shop and a pub. "Enjoyed my stay at a hotel I have long weekended before. Queen sized rooms are always in immaculate condition, breakfast offers a broad choice of food. The steep hike up the sloping pathway to the hotel may be a challenge for some, but it also can be a good workout too! I would go back again for my next trip to Bournemouth."

"A nice hotel, very clean and Friendly staff. Breakfast was ok, a little limited and food ran out fast without being refilled. The rooms were comfortable however asked twice for extra pillows and nothing turned up. Also bulbs in lamps not working. Batteries in remote for tv not working. Swimming pool and steam room was amazing. Perfect location close to everything."

"No AC on third floor so in this heat it was hot throughout the stay, fans were provided but doesn’t match AC. Male receptionist was lovely and very helpful. We had an issue with maintenance in our room- but this was unresolved and not followed up on. We couldn’t wait in the room all day for someone else to show up as it was so hot. In general nice hotel in good location- 8 min walk to beach and 10 min walk to town centre for restaurants. Parking had enough spaces and the area where hotel is located is quiet. Pool is smaller than pictured and had swim lessons going on so half was occupied- but weather was so nice we went to the beach anyways."
