"The reception staff was very helpful. I was welcomed with a free bottled water. Josue at the reception desk was always happy to print maps for me and give valuable advice when I needed it. He made me welcome and patiently answered my questions."

"Beautiful room and hotel - it was simply charming. very close to restaurants, shops and landmarks. The staff was very helpful and friendly. I felt safe, relaxed and worry free.
Parking is an issue and it ended up costing me twice as more than what what I was told by the hotel. I think proactively giving information about parking (maps, pricing, etc.) would go a long way. it didn't seem that the wifi was protected - something to invest in in my view, "

"Best hotel experience I've ever had. The staff went above and beyond all expectations to make us as happy as possible, even though we were only there for 1 night. We unexpected had to show up 1.5 hours earlier than check-in time, but nonetheless they not only let us in but then treated us like royalty. The hotel cleanliness was flawless. I literally have no complaints or criticisms whatsoever regarding amenities, staff, or anything else. The jacuzzi on the rooftop was a unique experience and wonderful. The hotel and room itself were unique and awesome in terms of architecture, etc. Breakfast was included and very good. Worth every penny of cost and more."
"The building is located inside of a 200 year old preserve colonial building, it is fascinating and quite marvelous walking in! The receptionist who helped check me in was Claudia. She handed us this delicious frozen coffee desert upon greeting us. She was extremely pleasant and super helpful in accommodating my stay here. She kindly offered to upgrade our room as our first room assigned did not have a certain feature we wanted! Overall staff was friendly and the hospitality is unmatched! The only downside is that their restaurant is closed Monday-Tuesday. So do keep in mind when booking your stay if that is something you’re interested in but to be fair, most restaurants in old San Juan are closed Monday-Tuesday."
