When we checked into our room it was horrible mil-due/ water damage smell. There was this extremely loud sound that was coming from the Air being on.the food was not good it was okay but I had better at home. Also we went to the spa for a couples massage and my boyfriend did not receive a full body massage, the male attendant nor his massage therapist followed protocol and the receptionist was rude to him. I will never go back and I am not referring anyone I know to go. No one tells you there is an adults only side so our entire stay we had no idea. We also had no idea there was a beautiful beach next to us until we walked down the street the day we were leaving and found the adults only side and the beach next to that. Overall I give it 3 stars and that’s because our house keeper was amazing! That’s it!

We booked this hotel last minute after checking out of hilton caribe which was horrible. The vanderbilt was beautiful and classy. Staff was friendly and attentive. Very beautiful atmosphere If you plan on staying in the resort i highly recommend however PR in general was disappointing as far as being dirty and unkempt.

Nice hotel. Great service. Food prices over the top and quality of food was not in keeping with the price. Bacon at breakfast was always very chewy despite reminders to the wait staff. Thankfully there are many great restaurants around town that serve better food than the hotel
