John and were excellent hosts the hotel was close to all the amenities required . The room was very clean and comfortable and the bed was very comfortable. Breakfast was excellent.

Great little period hotel. It’s like going back in time to 1900s. Beautiful breathtaking views. Limited parking. Easy walk to restaurants. Our stay included breakfast which was delicious.

Access to hotel from car park is first class, communal areas very clean. Room very clean, bed linen sparkling white and crisp, bathroom immaculate.Breakfast could not be faulted, evening meal was obviously bought in, but was adequate. Overall the hotel cannot be faulted and we will be visiting again ...

Very nice place and the people are lovely. Room is nice. May be tight for 2 people. Bed is comfortable and I have slept well. TV is small by any standard, but not something I use much. Breakfast is ok, albeit uninspired.. Very nice Pub, Cottage Loaf, only steps away😊

Very nice hotel even though it’s built it the 1830s. Very friendly staff and services. Close proximity to bus station and train that takes you up to Snowden mountain. They have coach houses way in the back. Quite a walk from the reception, but a lot faster if you exit the back and walk to the front ...
