Mixed and disappointing

Cool and confusing welcome at reception despite email exchanges prior to arrival. Filthy rooms , see before and after towel radiator cleaning photos attached. Can you spot the difference? Food good to average. Location excellent. Shabby interiors, grimy sofas in lounge, urine smelling upstairs corridors. Even after raising this with management the dust levels were still very visible. Had w booking for two rooms and they only dusted one of them. The other 99% of the rooms- one can only hazard a guess.

    Perfect for walkers

    Very dated hotel, we stayed in the Coach House, although there was a radiator in the room it wasn’t on so the room was very cold. We were there for a wedding, the majority of the staff were very polite but we had just bought drinks and put them on the table when we were called for photos when we returned there was somebody else at the table and no drinks. The bar manager was informed and all he could say was well it wasn’t me! We had to get the lady in charge of the wedding involved before it was sorted and replacement drinks provided.
