"Staff were all welcoming and helpful. On-site parking is restricted and on a first come first served basis. Family room was large and comfortable. All round a lovely stay"

The Anchorage Hotel

The Anchorage Hotel

10/10 Excellent
"The new owner was sweet and helpful and staff was outstanding! They booked us a taxi to our ferry and a truly wonderful breakfast was included in our room. Beautiful and old school charm! Tonight we are in a horrible plastic hotel that is completely overpriced and tacky. ( a Hilton)The comparison is dramatic, The anchorage hotel in Holyhead is a jewel!"

Celtic Royal Hotel & Spa

Celtic Royal Hotel & Spa

8/10 Good
"We were surprised to find that guests have to pay an additional fee for parking. The building is quite old, so the ventilation wasn’t great and the room felt quite stuffy. Even though it was already the end of August, the room still felt quite warm and poorly ventilated. At night, there was also quite a lot of noise coming from the hotel kitchen downstairs, which was quite disturbing. Apart from these points, the staff were all very nice and friendly."

St George's Hotel

St George's Hotel

8/10 Good
"All the staff were very friendly and helpful! The cleaning staff, bar staff and room service were responsive and efficient. What was very surprising was that there was only one lift to get up and down from bedrooms, in the whole hotel. Great shame! But very enjoyable weekend break. Thank you St George’s Hotel staff."

The Seafront Hotel by Compass Hospitality

The Seafront Hotel by Compass Hospitality

10/10 Excellent
"Nice hotel in good location. Rooms were clean and beds were comfortable. It would be helpful for the hotel to offer breakfast when booking. Price is more expensive on the morning than if booked the night before and we thought a little expensive. Other than that a great 2 nights"

Imperial Hotel

Imperial Hotel

10/10 Excellent
"We stayed at the Imperial Hotel for 4 nights, Booked a double room with a view (room 208) which was a sea view, big double windows for the view, The bathroom was huge with 2 more double windows bed was really comfy, Used the swimming pool a couple of times the whole pool was 4ft 6in deep which was a good thing if you are not a confident swimmer, My sister used the gym daily (not for me )Breakfast was brilliant plenty of choice ie cereal, cooked, basically what ever you want, waitress brings you tea or coffee, the seating at the front was overlooking the sea, The position of the Hotel was great, 5 min to the pier,2 min to the shops and the railway was only 5 min away,A few places needed a bit of TLC but overall a good hotel, would stay again."
