"This duplex in Old Town was very tastefully refurbished and decorated. The kitchen is outfitted with the best appliances, including an electric kettle. (Note to hosts: ALWAYS provide a tea kettle of some kind and you'll get an automatic five-star rating from me!) The house is quite roomy and comfortable and the four of us settled in nicely. It's a bit of a walk to the train, but the neighborhood is nice, so you don't mind. I highly recommend."

"The yard is awesome, of course the hot tub at the top of the hill was the best, and we enjoyed the firepit as well. The house was a tidy little cottage at which we enjoyed our stay. "It’s a beautiful hotel with lovely staff. The beds were very comfy but the pillows have no neck support. We loved how close it was to Millennium park and how walkable the area was for finding dining options and seeing the sights. It’s only about one city block from the Art Institute and we got to walk by those beautiful lions every day. We did not try the restaurant but did have a drink at the Lockwood bar. The drinks were well balanced but it took forever to get drinks; I had to wait 15 minutes just to place my order at the bar with three bartenders. We didn’t see any waiters to help either. "
