An excellent hotel with a great view!! "
"Staff were all lovely! Locals also very nice, real friendly village feel in the bar. Food was good and lovely little garden to sit out the back and escape the heat!
Rooms were basic but did the job for our one night stay.
Saw some photos online before going that worried us but room and bathroom and all public spaces very clean so don’t be put off! "

Room was very tidy, comfortable and quiet.

Stylish first-floor apartment with private patio, just moments from the High Street. Sleeps 2
10/10 Excellent
"The flat is located right on the high street making access to all north Berwick a simple short walk.
Despite this the high street is lovely and quiet so only the gulls will be making noise!
The flat is in good decorative order and the bath and shower are great.
It’s a lovely flat for two people but remember that parking is changing in north Berwick and may be harder in the future if you bring a car - that said if you train in you really don’t need a car for your stay.

"A wonderful home away from home. A blend of modern appliances and traditional architecture and furniture. Located perfectly at the edge of the main shops along High Street, so that everything was within walking distance. Andrew Hinds is the perfect landlord: Friendly, helpful, knowledgeable. He helped at every step of our step: two years of full refunds when we could not make our trip, followed by excellent help in making this one work. He taught us how to use Whatsapp, gave us the links to the service staff and local transportation. Gordon gave us a thorough introduction to the house, and Lyndsey came by weekly to keep it clean. This was our seventh or so visit to N Berwick, but the first without a car or golf clubs. We just came to enjoy being there. The Sunday Times listed N Berwick as the most livable town in the UK, but we have considered it that for the past 40 years: our home away from home."
"The room was clean and welcoming and bright. It's furnishings were modern and new. There was a well stocked snack basket and the Tunnock's mallow on the pillow was a welcoming touch. The hotel is situated across the road from the beach and minutes away from shops and restaurants. I would gladly return for a stay in The Folly."
Perfectly located for town and beach - Victorian terraced house near East Beach. Sleeps 7
8/10 Good
"We stayed for a long weekend at North Berwick with my elderly Mother. The location is fantastic, being almost on the sea front with spectacular views out to Bass Rock. The house had everything we needed, with a large well equipped kitchen and two lounges. We chose Guillemots because we needed ground floor living accommodation for Mum. Whilst she managed the ground floor room with en suite, it isn't particularly set up for a disabled person, and so anyone doing similar may need to take grab rails or equipment."
