Waking up to the highland cows in the morning right outside of the window was magical. Amazing little property,communication fantastic! I stayed here the night prior to my wedding. On arrival,i was welcomed with a lovey card wishing me well for my wedding day and a lovely box of chocolates. The room which is open planned had a double bed which was very comfortable. The shower was fab and powerful. And shampoo and body wash was provided. Very comfortable beds and very clean. There were many great amenities in the room like hot plate, toaster oven, mini fridge, and tea kettle. The shower had amazing water pressure and after long days of activities in Edinburgh like Arthur's seat, it was just what we needed to feel fresh and relaxed. I loved the heilan coos right outside.They were so cute and ended up being the only ones I saw on my trip to Scotland. Wished I could pet them but I understand. When I was stood taking pictures of them, my hand brushed up against a plant that had my finger stinging badly for a few hours. Not sure what it was, some type of nettle maybe? But it would be nice if those were removed from areas where guests may come into contact. The highlight is with highland cows as neighbour. Check in and check out are super easy. 30 mins drive from Edinburgh City centre. Idea to avoid staying in much more expensive and crowded area without acceptable travel time. The environment was very quite and cozy. We had a very comfortable stay. Especially the Highland cows make children super excited and impressed!
