Used the bar downstairs on arrival and the manager was super friendly a credit to the hotel gave me some good local information so stayed in East Linton and did a riverside walk in the morning before heading to St Abbs. Morning breakfast was delicious full scottish and sets you up for the day. A great hotel with great helpful staff. There is no carpark, but we were able to park easily on street just round the corner. We stayed in the Gallery room. It’s up a lot of stairs, but really nice. The bathroom is superb, with a big shower and big bath. We had dinner in the pub which was also really good. There’s a good vibe in there, everyone was having a good time. Best to book your table as it was busy. The cooked breakfast was very good, but there is no alternative. So if you prefer a continental breakfast this isn’t an option. No cereal, porridge or fruit juice either. I would recommend this place to anyone.
