This hotel is very well located for all of Rome's main sights. A very understated entrance on a side street leads to a lovely interior with a large courtyard, cosy bar and dining room and a roof-top bar area. All staff that we encountered over 4 days were polite, helpful, smart and cheery. Our room faced the courtyard (quieter apparently) and was very well appointed but quite small. Note for English guests - mini-bar but no kettle and tea/coffee making facilities. Free hotel wifi was good but not 'streaming' quality, 3 English language TV channels - all news. Breakfast (continental style buffet) was plentiful and of high quality - we didn't dine at the hotel though.
The hotel has the most wonderful view over the Piazza Navona, which is a perfect location with many restaurants, artists and entertainers.
The room was comfortable , clean and spacious with a fridge and tea/coffee making facilities.
I recommend this hotel , and would definitely stay there again .
The hotel is well located near Campo di Fiori with a number of restaurants near by. Our room was very modern and well laid out, but very, very small with only one small window overlooking the street below. The included breakfast was good and the staff was responsive. In retrospect, I might opt for a larger room and pay the price.

"Nice place, good rooftop bar and perfect location"
My title says it all. Perfect location, great staff, nice place. Wish it had a pool, but can't have everything, especially in Rome. Stayed at other 5 star hotel last time, but liked this place better because of perfect walking distance to everything.
With the Pantheon on your doorstep you have a great advantage, when you are the oldest hotel in Rome you have even more. The character, old walls, amazing ceilings and mouldings, the pretty little breakfast courtyard, all combine to make this a comfortable, if not luxurious, hotel. Little touches in the room like slippers and bathrobes, in the bathroom the amenity kits are very comprehensive and there was a good selection of channels in several languages on the TV.
The wifi is flaky at best - but mostly it just doesn't work. Thankfully though there are many cafes and bars around offering it. The porters and breakfast staff are wonderful, really friendly and helpful. The only ones letting the side down are a couple of the reception staff - sent to the wrong station for a train to Tivoli (should be Tiburtina not Termini) and complete lack of interest when asking for help with the wifi. But on the whole this is the perfect hotel for Rome and I can't wait to go back!
Stayed for three nights. Ideal location to be able to walk to all main attractions in Rome. Staff very efficient and pleasant,
Good variety in breakfast which was brought to your room at your specified time.
Would definitely recommend this small hotel.
On arrival the reception staff was very professional and explained everything about the Hotel and its facilities. Our stay was memorable seeing that it was our first visit to Rome - a Special occasion. The location was ideal as we were never more than 15-20 minutes walk away from the main sights. The Continental breakfast was ideal, my only disappointment was the lack of complimentary coffee/tea in the bed room. Overall a brilliant stay and would definitely have no compunction in staying there again.
In the heart of the historic centre, Piazza Navona is Rome’s most famous square. Like a giant stage set, this is where the theatre of daily Roman life is re-enacted among the café tables that spill out onto the fountain-splashed piazza. Bernini’s baroque extravaganza, the Fontana dei Quattro Fiume, is the most celebrated of the three fountains. Nearby is the Pantheon – one of Rome’s great symbols and a marvel of ancient architecture.
