It was great to have found this hotel in the midst of all the hustle and bustle of Rome. It is situated in a very quiet street. We found the staff to be very friendly, especially the two ladies that were at the front desk during the day. The room was quite small, yet very comfortable. The breakfast was the usual continental fare served in Europe with eggs, bacon and other hot food available at an extra charge. It is within walking distance from many of the popular attractions in Rome. The Trasevere neighbourhood is just across the river, within five minutes of the hotel, where a number of super restaurants could be found. The Hotel Ponte Sisto was just the right hotel for us!
The staff at this hotel are so helpful and pleasant , on arrival giving us a map and showing routes to the various sights. The room was modern style and kept really clean, there was good air con, and the bed very comfortable , breakfast was simple buffet but there was always plenty. The roof terrace was a nice bonus. Street noise maybe a problem to some if the windows were open, the very small lift only did floors 1 to 4 so stairs up to the roof terrace or down to the breakfast room may be a problem for those with walking difficulties. For us it was a great place to stay.

The hotel has the most wonderful view over the Piazza Navona, which is a perfect location with many restaurants, artists and entertainers.
The room was comfortable , clean and spacious with a fridge and tea/coffee making facilities.
I recommend this hotel , and would definitely stay there again .
You can walk to the entire historic area of Rome as well as Vatican. The hotel is nice, clean and the staff is helpful. It is an old hotel. Rooms are small. Breakfast was excellent. We have stayed here many times for the last two days of our trips before departing from Rome airport. The street is busy and there is a bus stop. Not a quiet corner.

Great location in front of the Pantheon. Very close (walking distance) to most of Rome's top tourist designations. Hotel staff was great and assisted us in arranging transportation to and from the airport.
The staff were all extremely friendly and helpful. Rooms were very well-equipped, immaculately clean and comfortable. Breakfast was the best we'd had at any place we had stayed. I cannot recommend this hotel highly enough.
This is the third time I've stayed at this charming small hotel. The hotel couldn't be in a better location - right beside the Pantheon, five minute walk to Trevi Fountain, 15 minute walk to the Coloseum and Roman Forum, 10 minutes to the Spanish Steps, and 5 minutes to Piazza Navona. You can walk to all of the famous tourist sites except for the Vatican.
The rooms are comfortable, and nicely decorated. Beds are comfortable and windows are double paned so you do not hear any of the noise from the crowds on the streets below.
Only thing I would say that could be improved upon slightly would be the breakfast. Coffee, cappucino, and hot chocolate is all excellent. Scrambled eggs, bacon, cheese and toast good. Orange juice was watery and more fruit could be provided.

We enjoyed our stay here very much. It was very easy to get to main tourists attractions like the Trevi Fountain, Spanish Steps, the Pantheon, the Vatican, etc. The staff was very accommodating and welcoming. The breakfast buffet was great. I will miss their pastries!
Hotel is very close to must major attractions - 10- 20mins. Rooms very well maintained and supplies where refreshed on a daily basis. Hotel Staff was excellent. Special thanks to Alyssa and Daniella (please forgive me if I misspelled your names.) Neither my wife or I can speak Italian but these two ladies made us feel at home and helped us whenever we had questions about the area. They truly went over and above by calling our transportation and air travel contacts,to make sure that everything was good to! Thank you, ladies! You deserve a big raise!
This hotel is within walking distance to all the main sights of central Rome, yet is in a relatively quiet area.
The rooms are small, as per the usual European design when in old section of a city. The breakfast was excellent, and had a great selection of hot and cold items, again in the European style. There is a lovely rooftop terrace, although it was a little neglected since we were there late in the season.

In the heart of the historic centre, Piazza Navona is Rome’s most famous square. Like a giant stage set, this is where the theatre of daily Roman life is re-enacted among the café tables that spill out onto the fountain-splashed piazza. Bernini’s baroque extravaganza, the Fontana dei Quattro Fiume, is the most celebrated of the three fountains. Nearby is the Pantheon – one of Rome’s great symbols and a marvel of ancient architecture.
