We arrived about an hour before check in but were able to go to our room. As expected the room was small but a lovely big bed, and nicely decorated. Lovely large bathroom with good quality towels/robes. The hotel is in an excellent location for all sites.
This hotel is very well located for all of Rome's main sights. A very understated entrance on a side street leads to a lovely interior with a large courtyard, cosy bar and dining room and a roof-top bar area. All staff that we encountered over 4 days were polite, helpful, smart and cheery. Our room faced the courtyard (quieter apparently) and was very well appointed but quite small. Note for English guests - mini-bar but no kettle and tea/coffee making facilities. Free hotel wifi was good but not 'streaming' quality, 3 English language TV channels - all news. Breakfast (continental style buffet) was plentiful and of high quality - we didn't dine at the hotel though.
We arrived Rome by train from Tuscany and although we were too early to check in it was no trouble for them to keep our overnight luggage. After a day sightseeing it was lovely to come back to a fabulous, modern and extremely comfortable room with excellent shower room and toiletries. Location was just a short stroll from Campo de Fiori which was great if you didn't want to venture far for dinner, then great for breakfast in the morning. Again, no trouble for them to hold our luggage so we could enjoy more of Rome before getting our train back to Tuscany.
We enjoyed our stay and have nothing but good things to say about Gianni, Christina and Marco. We checked in at 10 pm at night and a day EARLY! (our mistake) So glad we did end up in that area for an extra day. There was no one at the location but the restaurant next door called them and sent Marco, their son, to open up rooms for us. When he got there he lugged all our bags upstairs. There were 9 of us! They were great and so accommodating. I cannot wait to go back!
Full of old roman charm, the hotel is in the centre of most of the main tourist attractions. It is comfortable, and has an air con system which actually works very well. We were up on the fourth floor with double glazed windows, so noise wasn't a problem.
"Nice place, good rooftop bar and perfect location"
My title says it all. Perfect location, great staff, nice place. Wish it had a pool, but can't have everything, especially in Rome. Stayed at other 5 star hotel last time, but liked this place better because of perfect walking distance to everything.
The hotel has the most wonderful view over the Piazza Navona, which is a perfect location with many restaurants, artists and entertainers.
The room was comfortable , clean and spacious with a fridge and tea/coffee making facilities.
I recommend this hotel , and would definitely stay there again .
This hotel has limited facilities, however this minor shortcoming is by far outweighed by its fantastic location in the heart of Rome. The rooms are modern and functional with a large bed, flat screen TV and all of the bits and bobs that you would expect from a 5* hotel. You can have breakfast, lunch or an evening meal at a restaurant owned by the hotel that is next to the hotel.
The view is spectacular from the front of the hotel with the Pantheon only yards away.
Great no frills hotel, will definitely visit again.
In the heart of the historic centre, Piazza Navona is Rome’s most famous square. Like a giant stage set, this is where the theatre of daily Roman life is re-enacted among the café tables that spill out onto the fountain-splashed piazza. Bernini’s baroque extravaganza, the Fontana dei Quattro Fiume, is the most celebrated of the three fountains. Nearby is the Pantheon – one of Rome’s great symbols and a marvel of ancient architecture.
