While it's a good 15 mins or so up a hill from the station, for £40 or so, there's nothing at all to complain about- big rooms with cooking facilities, microwave and even a dishwasher should you need it, a lovely swimming pool and staff who were knowlegable and extremely helpful; particularly Guaytan , who couldn't have been more efficient and personable. "Staff in reception very friendly. We had an apartment which was clean and had everything we needed although could do with an update, but for the reasonable price we paid it was good. 10 min walk to the medievil city and only a 2 min walk to main road for bus stops to modern city, shopping complex and Lake Cavayere which had a lovely small beach to have a swim. 30 min walk to the train station. Indoor pool was nice and refreshing after a day's sightseeing."

We have no hesitation in recommending this charming old hotel."

A big thank you to the night porter for my birthday drink. I would definitely recommend and visit again."
