I stayed two nights in the hotel. By mistake, I booked a room with a shared bathroom. Actually it was not too bad as the family who shared the bathroom with me did not use it all the time. I was a little bit annoyed by the noise (the first night there was some very loud music from a nearby restaurant ...

Great, attentive and helpful staff. Somewhat confusing configuration of floors and lifts. Free shuttle to the heart of Funchal. Reasonably priced limousine to the airport. Too bad the weather was somewhat disappointing.

Spacious flat with lots of room for two couples. Ideally situated for most of Funchal's attractions. Near the Old Town with lots of good restaurants and the cable car terminal.

The best thing about this hotel is the amazing staff. Very friendly and they couldn't do enough to make sure you had a pleasant visit to their incredible island.
If you are specifically looking for somewhere with parking, as we were, this is not the hotel for you. There are 3 spaces in total which is not enough, even for a small hotel.
