"Great location with direct access to the sea. The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive. The rooms are beautiful and breakfast buffet has a wide selection to choose from. Overall highly recommend this hotel for a relaxing break and treat for something special."

"The hotel offers a shuttle bus to Funchal but they only offer it twice a day 9.45am and 4.30pm most days and then charge 35 euros per person. Need to offer more times."

"I want to get the negative comments out of the way. the room that we selected (the superior room) was not what were expecting. it wasn't the biggest room we've been in and the balcony was very small so if we wanted to see the view of the park, we had to move the chair from the balcony to then open the door. and the mini fridge wasn't very cold even when we had it on all night when the room card was in. now to the positives. it was nice to see that there has been a lot happening in the hotel in terms of renovations and as always the hotel was in good condition. and once again the staff were excellent and very friendly and always willing to answer your enquiries about anything. really looking forward to returning next year."
