Would absolutely stay here again. The staff took extra care with keeping the property clean, literally nothing was dirty. The staff were Ann very polite and super attentive. They all spoke a level of English (which was good for us seeing as we don’t speak Portuguese). The room was incredible, we splashed out a bit and got a junior suite with an ocean view and it was INCREDIBLE. The amenities were great - we tried to make use of all that we could considering our short stay. Definitely book again.

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at the Albatroz Beach & Yacht Club. We received a warm welcome. The staff were very friendly and helpful, making every effort to ensure our stay was as comfortable as possible. We had a lovely room with everything we needed. The pool in the sea is unique, and the food was excellent. We were even offered a shuttle service without having to ask. I highly recommend the Albatroz Beach & Yacht Club to everyone, and it will definitely be my first choice again on my next visit to Madeira.

Lovely location and room sea view was spectacular over the rock pools which were lovely to swim in. Staff at the hotel were very friendly and helpful and also gave us a packed breakfast/lunch when we had to head out early on tours.
The roof top pool, sauna and jacuzzi were lovely to relax in at the end of a packed day.
Only downside is the infrequent public transport to Funchal so you will need to catch Bolts so end up pricey. If you have a hire car it’s an ideal location
