Hotel Balear

8/10 Good

"The staff was very pleasant and the hotel was clean. Parking was a challenge. The price did seem a bit high but the lobby was beautiful but the rooms more basic"

Hotel Negresco Playa de Palma - Adults Only

8/10 Good

"Staff were so nice, room was lovely, we received an upgrade and early check in. Breakfast and bar/snack food really good. Pool area excellent. Only reason for four star was evening buffet, food quite bland and some items only lukewarm warm. The lighting while fine during the day was quite harsh at night so not very inviting. This did not take away from our stay and I would not hesitate to stay here again."

Hotel JS Palma Stay - Adults Only

10/10 Excellent

"What an amazing hotel. It was my 6th visit and I have ashtray booked for next year. Staff and amenities were second to none, especially the spa. Location was spot on. Beach round the corner and airport 5 minutes drive away. Only downfall was the jotel food. Very disappointing. Also showers in rooms need upgrading."

tent Arenal

8/10 Good

"Loved this hotel especially for the price, the unlimited buffet was amazing and had so many options for people with dietary restrictions like myself. The room was also very clean and comfortable. The only thing I didn’t like was that if you ask for an earlier check in, they charge you an extra 42 euros as a “re check in fee” which I’ve never heard of before, even if the room is ready earlier."

Hotel Isla Mallorca & Spa

10/10 Excellent

"This is a perfect little oasis in the heart of Palma. Conveniently located walking distance to dozens of bars, restaurants, markets, the harbor, cathedral, and much more. The pool area and bar were especially great during our stay. We splurged on a superior room with balcony for two nights and were not disappointed. Staff are friendly and accommodating and our room was spacious and comfortable. Highly recommend to anyone thinking of staying here!"

HM Palma Blanc Hotel

10/10 Excellent

"We had a fabulous stay at HM Palma Blanc Hotel & would definitely recommend it for anyone looking for a base in Palma. We stayed for our wedding anniversary & had just one night but an early flight out then a late flight home the following day. When we arrived, we were able to use all of the facilities immediately even though our room wasn’t quite ready (which we weren’t expecting it to be so this wasn’t a problem). We left our luggage with the concierge & changed in the spa (which looked fab, but we didn’t use it this trip). The rooftop pool was amazing & the loungers & daybeds were really comfy. Drinks at the bar up there were reasonably priced too. We spent time exploring the city & this hotel is in a great location - it’s only 15 minutes or so to the Cathedral & close to the popular tourist sites. All of the staff we encountered were friendly & helpful, the room was lovely & I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Palma."

Frequently asked questions

When is the best time to go to Los Almendros?

The best time to go to Los Almendros is during the shoulder seasons of May, early June, September, and early October.

These months offer pleasant weather with warm temperatures and less rainfall, making them ideal for outdoor activities like exploring the coastline or enjoying the beaches. You'll find the island to be less crowded than in the peak summer months, allowing for a more relaxed experience at popular spots and restaurants.

For travellers looking for a peaceful escape, visiting in late spring or early autumn means you can enjoy the natural beauty of the island without the bustling crowds. This is superb for couples seeking quiet walks along the shore or solo travellers wanting to unwind by the pool.

If you're interested in water sports or simply prefer hotter weather, late June, July, and August are also excellent choices, though the island will be at its busiest.
