Warm welcome, friendly helpful staff, very enjoyable reasonably priced evening meal. Excellent breakfast.
The room on the top floor accessed by a steep staicase, was spacious and very clean, slight downside the mattress was a little tired.
The location of the hotel was ideal very close to town centre.
Tip. The restaurant is very popular so book a table in advance.
Watch out for parking fines, paying by phone does not always work, one guest paid by phone and still got £100 worth of parking...

A very rare review – but our stay at Y Capel was absolutely faultless. Although a remote annexe of The Erskine Arms (on the same small street, opposite Erskine Arms) it is absolutely beautiful. A converted chapel with its own parking, one vehicle per room. It is ideally situated, right in the centre of Conwy. Walking distance from all the essential venues in Conwy. The building, the rooms and communal areas are all spotlessly clean, beautifully decorated. Our room (Number 10), was very, very...

We stayed at this hotel for 3 nights and the standard was very high. From the moment we arrived Simon was very welcoming and explained how the hotel worked. Simon gave us excellent advice on how to get to a site where we had stayed 42 yrs ago, the hotel was demolished a number of yrs ago and we followed his recommendation of the location of a high quality cafe on the way.
