"We had a great time at Rose Cottage. Perfect for a long weekend. Generally very clean but lots of dog hairs on the floor. Heating was very responsive, kitchen well equipped. Could do with a drying rack for the draining board and some tumbler sized glasses. Lovely soft towels and bedding, great shower. Best fish and chips ever from Robinsons over the road. Parking a bit tricky at times but all in all a lovely time!"

"I go away with work most weeks and this has to be up there with one of the best places I have stayed in. Would love to come back in the summer. I’ve now booked up for my third successive week. The kitchen is perfect, plenty of work space and well laid out. Bit of confusion over the microwave until I realised it was built into the oven. Maybe do with a washing machine. Great surroundings and a great place to stay."

The host was exceptional with thier preparation of the property and it was faultless for our needs. Highly recommended for time spent in Belper or the wider region."
