"Nice hotel and location. Staff friendly and helpful. Breakfast very good. Blue badge parking, disapointing, only 2 places, then there is no lift from the car park, which is directly beneath reception. In stead, you have to walk outside, up and around to enter. Ok when it is dry."

"Lovely hotel. Would love to use it again when we visit family in Derby but my husband is disabled and a blue badge holder. The description parking available at £8 a day implies the park is on site in fact it was in the basement of the shopping centre opposite with either a very long walk around or several flights of steps as lifts were not working. If you are able bodied it is a fantastic hotel. If you are struggling with mobility and heart condition not the best choice if you are driving. "

"Arrived late but plenty of parking, friendly welcome from reception and quick check-in. Room was perfect for a single person for one night. I didn't have time for food but the vegan menu was extensive!"

"Great grade II listed building with stunning lobby and stairwell area. Nicely presented room with all the finishes expected of a 4* hotel. Pleasant staff and a good breakfast offering. The price was very reasonable and in a great central location"
