Stayed over night and attended an awards night on site. Form the welcome to the rooms to the food and service we had nothing to fault. Our only annoyance was the £15 parking charge which really ought to be free for guests staying the night.

Clean and comfortable hotel. We stayed whilst attending a rowing regatta at the National water sports centre half an hour away. Pool looked good but we didn’t have a chance to use it. Although next to the airport, we weren’t aware of any aircraft noise. Will stay here again but only 4 stars because breakfast, parking and evening meal were a little expensive and all additional costs.

The location was great for the airport although the car park was very busy when i arrived , there was only 1 person on the checkin desk so took ages as there was a queue , eventually someone else opened another desk , also only 1 out of the 2 lifts were working so took ages to go anywhere . The room had a hard wooden floor which was great but i would suggest that slippers are provided given it’s a 4 star property as we found the rooms cold and the air con / heater didn’t do anything to help matters . The breakfast was one of the worst I have had the selection was good but the food quality was not , the items available to order menu should be on the tables not 1 sign above the Buffett which most people miss . There was no information provided about the hotel or facilities at checkin but simply told to scan the QR code in the room .
