It was faultless. Warm and clean and everything you need for a stay as close as you can get to Alton Towers. Space to park and leave your car. 2-3 minutes walk to the turnstiles at Alton towers. Highly recommend the place.

Can't fault anything about the stay. The cottage, the facilities, the cleanliness, the communication and the value were all absolutely impeccable.

Lovely quirky place, close to the local amenities! Everything was catered for and a welcome gift greeted us on arrival. The secluded garden was a little treat to relax in. Rooms were spacious and clean. Parking outside and on the street! Will definitely come back!

Really good accommodation in great location. Milk, bread and other things in the fridge. Easy check-in. Very pleased

Lovely cottage and well equipped.

Property is ideal ,the location for Alton Towers is amazing only 5mins walk

I go away with work most weeks and this has to be up there with one of the best places I have stayed in. Would love to come back in the summer. I’ve now booked up for my third successive week. The kitchen is perfect, plenty of work space and well laid out. Bit of confusion over the microwave until I realised it was built into the oven. Maybe do with a washing machine. Great surroundings and a great place to stay.

Lovely little cottage, very clean, friendly host, would stay again :)

I had a wonderful stay at Stonecroft Lodge. I have stayed before and will look to return again as testament to the quality of the accommodation and also the peace and relaxation factor.

Nice clean, comfortable property with everything you need. Comfortably sleeps 10. And it really is less than five minutes walk to Alton Towers! Definitely stay here again.

Property was extremely clean and comfortable. There was everything you could possibly need.

I can not fault the woodshed or Karl the host. Just amazing

Great stay. See review on Sykes Cottages site

Fantastic, responsive and lovely host, whom was able to give an individualised response to my couple of queries. Great hot tub, that was actually hot from start to end! We had a great stay, thank you Kelly

2 families stayed whilst visiting Alton Towers. We couldn’t have stayed any closer, The Old Barn literally on the doorstep. The property have a very homely feel which made relaxing easy. There was plenty of room for the 12 of us. We could even all sit together around the large table in the kitchen to eat together. Beds were very comfortable and the location was quiet. The only noise at night was our bed which creaked really loudly every time me or my husband moved dispute that we slept very...

Very clean with extremely comfortable beds. The welcome pack was a lovely thought and much appreciated.

Excellent property in a superb location. Only a few minutes walk to town through a lovely woodland. It accommodated 4 adults and two dogs perfectly. The host was exceptional with thier preparation of the property and it was faultless for our needs. Highly recommended for time spent in Belper or the wider region.

Amazing family farm house in a stunning location with beautiful views. Property was spotlessly clean and had absolutely everything you need for a home away from home. Check in was smooth and any questions were answered efficiently by the hosts. Would definitely recommend to anyone family or small group who wish to get away from it all. Thank you

Beautiful village location, picture perfect. Barn itself had everything we needed for a self catering break and was a charming place to stay

Spotlessly clean and well appointed cottage. Ideal for a couple like us
