On the downside there was an engagement party, which was very noisy until midnight, the general soundproofing was very good but could not handle the noise of music and door banging from the party. Breakfast very good with great variety and taste. Very useful lift."

"I stayed here for 1 night with my husband on my birthday. The staff were excellent, expecially Neil the lifeguard in the pool. Disappointing that the sauna was out of order and the gym very small but Neil arranged for us to go to the Haven the next morning to use their pool, gym, steam room and sauna. We had a lovely room with a super king bed and great sea view. The breakfast was good and the dinner excellent."

Mark was excellent at keeping in touch with us. answering any queries. Supplies of cutlery, crockery and utensils were excellent. Sea views were wonderful. Plenty of chairs for sitting out. Luxurious showers. The only area that needed a bit more care was the area around the kitchen sink.But we were all retired nurses!"

"We enjoyed a lovely girls weekend away in Bramble Cottage. The cottage was clean, warm and cosy and they supplied plenty of wood to enjoy a fire both nights we were there. The Village Inn provided a lovely welcome and great food for our first night. The bus stop opposite provided bus transport into Swanage for Â£3 return and you were able to track the bus so didn't have to stand out in the cold waiting for too long.The staff were very friendly and were able to fix a slight mishap with the door in a very timely manner.We are already planning our next trip."
