"The room was clean and tidy. The shower was great. Water in the fridge and tea and coffee was a nice extra. There were shower gel and shampoo/conditioner along with hand wash and body lotion. The hotel staff were friendly on check in and the bar staff were friendly. The breakfast was good quality and there was a wide variety in judging fresh fruit. Right next to the station so it was very handy for my travelling."

The Queen at Chester Hotel - Handwritten Collection

The Queen at Chester Hotel - Handwritten Collection

8/10 Good
"Firstly, the staff were friendly and helpful. Check in was good. Our room was in the Kings side, a separate part from the main hotel, joined together with a covered walkway. We were on the top floor (7th floor). The lift worked fine, no problems. Our room was basic and clean, but OK, except the two bedside lights didn't work, the bathroom fan didn't work, and the shower took some sorting out to find the correct temperature, the TV was old with only a few channels (this didn't bother us as we came to see Chester, not watch TV). The bed was spotless and comfortable. It had air conditioning but we never tried it. The breakfast was good with a buffet style offering cooked full English or cereal etc. There is a large car park at the side / rear of the hotel, and it cost us £30 for 48 hours."
