"So convenient"
Sits adjacent to central train station and is a drop off point for the airport bus shuttle. Right downtown. Welcome staff was great and allowed us into our room early (11 am). Nice bar and restaurant in the hotel, looking out into the terminal. We could walk everywhere. The hotel is old but the rooms were fine, clean and spacious. I would definitely stay here again when in Glasgow.

"Hotel very close to City Centre and Ibrox Stadium"
Good Hotel at a very good location near the city centre and Ibrox Stadium. Breakfast options and service was good. Only negative the free wifi kept cutting out in our room and the lift feels like its about to break

"Affordable and good loacation"
I wasn't sure what to expect with the pond hotel... but I was pleasantly surprised. It's a no frills hotel in the sense that there is no pool, gym or baggage service sometimes associated with larger hotels but if none of those things really matter to you then this is a perfect hotel. The staff was always nice and courteous, the map at the front desk along with the taxi button were life savers on more than one occasion and the little restaurant downstairs is not bad. If you are on a bit of a budget or like late night snacks there is a 24/7 Marks and Spencer next to the hotel that has great cheap eats and a fantastic brew pub next door.

"Weekend away"
Stayed Friday and Saturday, our room was spacious and clean but could have been doing with a bit of refurbishment but overall ok. We didn't actually meet any staff apart from checking in and the staff there were nice enough all in we had an enjoyable weekend

"Excellent hotel in the perfect location."
We were made to feel very special and welcome on our recent honeymoon. Having been in Glasgow a few times to see family, it was an absolute treat to stay at such a lovely hotel on this occasion. The rooms are fantastic with an amazingly comfortable bed, fully stocked complimentary mini bar, generous bath and sweet tartan decor trimmings. We had breakfast in the restaurant on one day and it didn't quite hit the spot but than would be our only - very slight - disappointment. The location is brilliant, being in the middle of the city and easy walking distance to great restaurants, pubs, bars and attractions. It's also under ten minutes walk to central and Queen St stations as well as the Buchanan bus hub. To finish up, the staff were quite friendly and overall we had a great time - definitely would (and have already) recommend this hotel.

"City Hotel "
Within the city centre. Good location. You need to reserve a parking place when you book your room. I made the mistake of not reserving and ended up parking in a public carpark, which cost a fair bit.
