"Been here before, liked it so came back, especially for the meal deal stay , things have changed a bit , in the past you got 3 courses in the deal , now it is £25 per head with fish and chips being £18 and ice-cream £5.95 doesn't leave much. That being said we made our choices, I asked for crusty baguette for my fish finger sandwich meal, the girl came and said there was no baguettes only normal sliced bread, it was very greasy, asked for new plate to move food onto ,lettuce brown edged, we also wanted sorbet and ice cream, after asking for raspberry sorbet, the girl came and said there was non , next day similar no , black rice, no halloumi, no crusty baguette , overall meals most disappointing. Room nice good shower etc but remote control was really grimey , cleaned it myself didn't want to use it . Pool good , jacuzzi small and wasn't hot , but rest ok. Staff lovely. Still a good place "

"Lovely hotel and extremely clean. We were in the club house room which is in a separate building from the main hotel. The room was very clean and modern. My only complaint was there were 2 small bottles of water put out for us like most hotels do but they were half full and the seals were broken so were not new. Also they provide fresh milk in a fridge in the reception area which is really nice but the one I had which was well in date was sour so I think the fridge was not cold enough. Also the ice machine was not working. I did mention this to the reception and it was all rectified immediately. Also the hand wash and shower gel bottles in our room were empty but I brought my own so that was fine. I would suggest that housekeeping do a more thorough check on these things in the future as it is little things like this that can let a lovely hotel like this down. We had an evening meal and breakfast and both were delicious and excellent staff. Although we had a few small problems we would definitely stay here again as the standard is very high. "

"Room was very good and well appointed. The maintenance team need to re-mastic the bath, though. Staff were very friendly, professional and helpful. But the hotel manager needs a talking to. Saturday was exceptionally busy but management only allocated one person to the bar with a 20 minute wait to be served. The bar lady was brilliant. The manager needs to ‘act down’ and plug the gaps when needed. This is typical of management in this country who sit in offices rather than working at the coal face when needed. "

"Hotel.com stated the room is soundproof unfortunately this was not the case the room on the 1st floor I sat to do work with my laptop by the double glazed windows I could hear noise coming through. tggggggrroomtheroom "
