"Top notch all the way"

"All meals are eaten in the buffet. Even though there are 3 other restaurants on the property you have to make a reservation and those are limited based on how many nights you are staying. While making a reservation she will try to get you to go to their sister location and listen to an hour plus long presentation. The property and beach area is small. I liked the evening shows and activities throughout the day. We always seemed to be able to find a lounge chair by the pool or the beach. Our room was cleaned daily. You basically get what you pay for."

"What made me choose this hotel initially is its size. Since booking there has been a partial refit which has made the hotel look much fresher. We were upgraded to Master Suite. This was a nice gesture, but as there were only 3 of us we spoiled for space. I would say that this isn't what most people would think is a suite. It has 2 bedrooms one of which is ensuite and a further 2 sleeping areas which surround an area with a table & chairs, along with a sort of kitchen area with a sink, coffee maker and fridge. The beach and pool areas are lovely. Never overcrowded"

"We had a great stay at Riu Caribe. Family of 4. The only diwnside is there was not much acticvities for the teenagers 14-17."

"Rude hotel staff , they didn’t have water for guests on April 5. Started renovating the hotel while guests were still In the hotel. Shut some restaurants and store a day before renovations . They didn’t seem to care for the safety and comfort of the guests"

"I’ve stayed here before a few times and in different rooms each visit. I’ve discovered that each stay was different based on the room. The hotel exterior looks good, well maintained and my other reviews were based on the other rooms. This time my room was basic and cheaper which really needed a renovation. Everything is outdated in that room. Also front desk staff poorly speak English (located in highly popular tourist area) I had to use translator to ask simple questions to give me a new garbage bag"

"Rooms were exceptionally clean! Food was great! I’m a neat freak and my kids and husband are foodies and everyone was more than happy! Snorkeling and water sports were fun! "
