The beach area of the hotel was in front of the port so busy at time and only a thin strip of sand. Food was always cold and drinks very sugary. There is a GoMart nearby for basic food/drinks—only one key card per room, which was inconvenient. Drinks at bar are low quality. We felt safe. If you need an inexpensive place, try this place. I tried to pay for lunch/snack but the first time I went the staff had zero interest in attending. Too busy chatting amongst themselves and the bartender.
