As the weather was so good we didn’t use the pools or spa but they all looked very good. Post Brexit staffing is very very difficult these days. Somethings have to give, like the terrace grill and land rover shuttle. Many of the staff were very young but again trained well and did a superb job. Residents take priority in the restaurant. "This was a last minute booking as a stopover before our ferry the next morning. We found the place on Hotels.com and were very pleased with the accomodation on our arrival. A beautiful historic hotel, quiet and relaxing. We travelled with our two dogs and were given a courtyard room that allow dogs. Room was very clean and comfortable. Dogs were provided with beds, bowls and some foodie treats. Hotel Restaurant food very good and the spa / pool area also good."
