"Overall this hotel was lovely and a wonderful location. Positives The staff were very friendly and accommodating. We stayed in a pet friendly garden suite which was ideal, the hotel food was fabulous and the spa was clean with a lovely pool, steam and sauna rooms. We did have a leak in our bathroom coming from upstairs which wasn't fixed and also there was some noise coming from upstairs. Housekeeping only came once in three days and didn't fully clean, I did mention this on the last day but apparently they had tried to access when my husband was in the shower so didn't hear them. Negatives By the time I had realised housekeeping had finished for the day so the room didn't get cleaned. A member of the team did change towels etc though, however fo a luxury hotel I would expect full daily cleaning. "

"Very nice Hotel. Staff were all on point. Nice to get a “Meet & Greet” at the entrance. Good location with lovely views. Food was very good although it was a limited menu and we struggled with variety after a few days. Breakfast buffet was also very good. We will be returning. "

"This is our third visit we absolutely love it here. Peaceful and relaxing, delicious food and atmosphere. Friendly helpful staff, nothing is too much trouble. Home from home for us. And your dogs are welcome here too. "

"Very enjoyable stay. Lovely clean and well appointed cottage with great views and comfortable beds. Great for coastal walls but only 12 minutes from Salcombe. No real to talk to the hosts but overall very welcoming. "

"The apartment is well appointed and Penny, the owner, very helpful. It has one of the best views in the building with two balconies facing the estuary and coast. The location is excellent with two hotel restaurants, a spa, coffee shop, and a short ferry ride to Salcombe nearby. A National Trust property begins next door offering plentiful footpaths along the coast or fields of wildflowers. "
