"We had the most amazing stay at gara rock . The place is beautiful and set in amazing beachside settings with breathtaking views. Everything is exceptional, the hotel, the setting, the food and the staff. They really made the stay fantastic as they went above and beyond to accommodate you and make sure you have the best stay. "Have just enjoyed a 3 night stay with a friend. Beautiful hotel in unique location in quiet South Sands beachy cove. Lots of ways to get to Salcombe town centre either walking (a bit hilly), hotel shuttle car or water ferry. Rooms have stunning decor and bathrooms are very well appointed. Service throughout the hotel is excellent and very friendly. Enjoyed both breakfast and dinner in the hotel restaurant. Good value & again great service throughout but with particular mention of lovely service from Rebecca. Views are gorgeous from the restaurant, hotel rooms with sea view, outside raised terrace and nice sun loungers at road level. Very nice spa pool area with jacuzzi, sauna & steam room. We used the treatment room at the town centre Harbour Hotel for massage & facials because we booked the stay last minute so no availability at the Beach Club. Recommend booking restaurant times & spa treatments ahead. The last few miles of roads into South Sands are narrow and need a bit of negotiating! Would happily return another time. "

"We had an amazing stay on East Soar Farm. The property was clean, comfortable and cosy, and was like a home from home. The log burner with an endless supply of logs was very welcome on the chilly nights.Our three young children had great fun spending time with the animals, including getting into the field with the newborn lambs and nursing them! Our children are desperate to return.The surroundings were beautiful, and there were a number of lovely walks along the coastal path, which was on the doorstep.Schalk and Marijke were wonderful hosts. Their communication before we arrived was extremely helpful and timely and they were readily available throughout our stay."

"This was a super property, with everything ypu could need. A well equipped warm comfortable clean cosy apartment. Ideally located for beautiful coastal walks and a trip into town. Highly reccomended. "
