"A Sea Front Hotel Room Without a Window?"
The location of the hotel is sublime, couldn't be any closer to the beach with amazing sea views, provided you get a room with a sea view of course. Unfortunately we didn't have the luxury of a window let alone a sea view, we were greeted with 4 walls and a small "sky light", our room was in the 800's, couldn't say if they are all the same within that wing but ask the question, especially if you are claustrophobic you will feel very uncomfortable. The room size was also pretty narrow and small, not worth the money I spent. No room service, no mini bar either. As far as the hotel goes, its very dated inside, if they invested in the hotel and updated the decor to something modern, it could be something spectacular. The pool and spa facilities are ok and the gym seemed to have an ok range of equipment, I'd say enough to cover all muscle groups again, investment here would attract more people. Parking will cost you £20 per night, or £15 at the NCP across the road.

Stayed here two nights in June 2016. It is quite convenient for the city centre and not far from the town square and park.

"Traditional hotel short break."
Traditional hotel 10-minutes walk from East Cliff beach, town centre or Landsdown area bus stops, pubs and restaurants. Nice airy reception area and a welcome from staff upon checking-in. Room was on third floor, quiet at night, plenty of storage space and had a full-sized bathroom, (2 basins, bath, WC and separate shower cubicle). Buffet breakfast, (included), was served in a large dining room and covered the usual fare of cereals, hot items, fruit etc. Overall, we enjoyed our 4-night break and will probably return at some future time.

Great Accommodation at Great Rates: Britannia Hotels in Dorset

Hotels that sport the Britannia logo are well known for offering great accommodation at great rates. As a result, they are often popular with businessmen who are stopping over for a night or two, but don't want to forsake the creature comforts offered by quality establishments. The Royal Bath Hotel in Bournemouth, has everything for the modern business traveller: in addition to its proximity to the Bournemouth International Centre, it has its own gymnasium, a superb restaurant and offers high-speed internet access. In addition, the hotel is well positioned by the seafront and boasts its own grounds, for those who want to remain far from the madding crowd!

    Hotels for Families

However, Britannia hotels also appeal to those who want to enjoy a longer stay, but don't want to break the bank. The value for money aspect is ideal for families, who want an extended stay, but are money-mindful. The Heathlands Hotel, also in Bournemouth, is the perfect choice for groups, being positioned in the town centre yet with the seven sandy miles of Bournemouth Beach just a short walk away. Themed Breaks

Special occasions are something of a forte with Britannia Hotels. Many of their hotels, such as the Britannia Bournemouth, offer themed breaks, such as wine tasting weekends and sixties music weekends. These are ideal for those who have something to celebrate but don't want all the fuss or organising it themselves.

Dorset is a beautiful county to visit at any time of year. Booking a room in a Britannia hotel assures of certain standards of excellence, but without the bills associated with larger chains.
