Good modern hotel with good size room. Pillows surprisingly hard but otherwise comfortable beds, Quiet apart from air conditioning. Evening meal in the restaurant ; main course excellent, desert less so. Breakfast pretty mediocre.
Ideal location for Theatre or Pavilions. room spotless, nice extra touches. Comfy bed and good choice of breakfasts. Will book again when going to concert or theatre.
All the staff were friendly and efficient, had no problems , the food we ate was great , checked in quickly. Bed was so comfy & the room so quiet. Would not hesitate to book again !
Nice and central to the City Centre and within walking distance of The Hoe, Marina, etc. Only bugbear was having to pay extra for the car park! I was only there for one night so it was £11 for 24 hours but could work out expensive if you were staying for longer. I appreciate that because it is so ...
Overall good,,,more attention needed in room cleaning,,,carpet never cleaned during my stay,,,some of the staff at restaurant need to have a smile on their face,,,reception staff are very helpful and friendly,,,,

Visitors flock to Devon each year for its wonderfully varied landscapes, which offer a great range of outdoors activities. These include everything from boating off the dramatic Jurassic coastline to rambling and cycling on Dartmoor. The great cities of Plymouth and Exeter are packed with sights of cultural and historic interest, and there are many excellent accommodation options liberally sprinkled across the county. You can find everything from humble but cosy and comfortable B&Bs to boutique and spa hotels at the top end of the market, so whether you're heading for the wilds of Exmoor or the luxuries of the English Riviera you'll be spoilt for choice.
Broadband speeds are getting faster all the time, and with easy access to home routers you'll almost certainly be able to access the internet even in a modest B&B or guesthouse in Devon. Many of the bigger hotels, especially those targeting the business community, will offer the very best broadband speeds available, but wherever you stay you can expect WiFi access at least in the public parts of your hotel. You may sometimes have to pay extra for in-room service, so it depends really on your requirements. If you have kids in your group it's usually a good idea to ensure that you pick a hotel with fast broadband, so they'll be able to stay plugged in to their games and social media.
Even the smaller guesthouses and family-run B&B accommodation along the Exe Valley and in other parts of rural Devon will often have WiFi provision for guests who are increasingly coming to expect it. With equipment like routers and signal boosters now so readily available at nominal cost, it's a simple matter to set up a home network as another useful provision along with the comfortable bed and full English breakfast.
Visitors to Devon, as those elsewhere, are increasingly coming to expect good broadband provision as this continues to be rolled out across the country. Hotel owners have been quick on the uptake when it comes to getting fast broadband connectivity in their establishments, and Devon hotels usually have good internet speeds throughout public and private spaces in the building.
