Great place to stop off on way to Cornwall. Bed comfy, great bathroom. Pleased there was a fan as room was quite warm (couldn’t open windows). Meal in evening good and breakfast great. Staff helpful and friendly. Some areas a little tired.

A great location to explore the local area! Stayed in the Sheldon Suite and it was clean and very convenient and comfortable. The shower and spa bath were excellent and the bed was spacious and comfy. The staff were helpful and the breakfast and food in the restaurant was delicious.

What a superb gem of a hotel. Location is ideal for travelling with plenty of car parking. Staff were very friendly and welcoming and the room had everything we needed. Breakfast was extremely good with a wide selection of continental and superbly cooked and varied hot options. Ate dinner in the restaurant and the meal was lovely. Originally booked one night travelling south and then decided to stay again a few nights later when travelling back. Will definitely be back.

Lovely staff, clean (but fairly small) comfortable rooms and a good breakfast. It seems to be a "stopping over" place rather than a tourist place. However, it's a fairly short drive to all the area's amenities. Would certainly recommend to friends and family.
