"The shower pod is literally in the room you sleep in at the bottom of the bed. I had no idea this was the case when booking as I’ve never known anything like it! There is zero privacy! The reception staff aren’t very friendly and the service overall is just lacking what you would normally expect from a 4 star hotel. I wouldn’t recommend this place nor would I stay here again! "This hotel is a great base for visiting Amsterdam, It is situated in a calm and peaceful area, only a 5 min walk to the metro station and tram line.
We liked the style of the hotel and it was clean and well maintained. The hotel staff were also very helpful.

"Beautiful property, easy virtual check-in. No elevator so make sure you can carry your bags up and down the stairs easily. Great view of the town and canal, loved it! Would definitely stay here again. "

"This is one of the nicest properties that I have stayed at in Europe, very modern, spacious and high tech. It is further from the city center but is only a 2 minute walk to the train station, the Wow room really lived up to its name. "
"Unlucky while staying the the local metro station was closed. But still a relatively short walk to the next one.
One issue was the light in the bathroom would not shut off. The staff tried to fix this issue but were unable to so was moved to a new room. The issue was looked into very quickly and resolved very quickly. The rest of the stay was uneventful and enjoyable."
