I don't understand how expedia can last min change my property in Dublin and put me into a place where is haunted and far away.
Having work done but still good
We enjoyed the stay in the cottage very much. Very pretty, we even did not use the television the whole week, because we enjoyed the quietness, exquisiteness of the cottage and the nature so much. If we are coming back to the Cardiff area, we will stay here again.
We really enjoyed our stay here, the property was lovely and clean and the owners were extremely helpful and friendly.
Friendly staff really set this place apart. Decent room with access onto a balcony and fantastic sleep quality. The separate shower was really welcome in the room. The breakfast offer was a little haphazard, but quite decent.
Really lovely place, staff friendly and room perfect
I found the accommodation to be very clean and comfortable, in a beautiful quiet village setting only 10 mins from the city centre.
Cottrell Park Golf Resort has much more than golf to offer in breathtaking scenery. The resort is just a few miles from Cardiff city centre and booking a hotel room in the city will be the ideal base for the short trip to see what is on offer here.
The resort has two 18-hole courses to choose from and offers a wide range of hosting services, such as weddings and corporate and business facilities. There is also a snooker and pool room, fly fishing in Cottrell Park’s lake, state-of-the-art video golf simulators and a nature trail through the resort’s 400 acres of parkland and woods.
The Mackintosh course is a par 72 circuit set in woodland, with some ancient trees reckoned to be up to 300 years old. At 6,568 yards, the challenging course is not only guaranteed to provide an enjoyable game of golf for players of any handicap, but the scenery will be enjoyed by any non-golfers who are accompanying the players as they make their way round.
The Button Gwinnett course is named for a local Welshman who moved to America and was one of the signatories of the American Declaration of Independence. In keeping with this link, the course has an American theme and a number of tricky hazards and challenges, including 13 lakes. Golfers of all levels, from beginner to professional, will enjoy this championship course; no matter what the score or the result, the scenery and breathtaking views will make any round of golf on the Button Gwinnett course a delight. After an exacting 18 holes, it will be a pleasure to visit the 19th. Cottrell Park’s clubhouse is a stone-built haven where players can enjoy a drink, a snack or something more substantial.
Away from the golf, the Cottrell Park Golf Resort is very popular as a wedding venue. This part of the Vale of Glamorgan is just bursting with beautiful scenery, so is the perfect setting for a day to remember. The luxurious marquee, next to the clubhouse, is fully fitted, but at the same time is also a blank canvas, so the bride and groom can have the venue dressed exactly as they want it. The award-winning caterers, Spiros, are on hand to provide the menu of your choice, and experienced staff can guide and advise to make the special day unforgettable. The resort is also available to hire for corporate and business meetings, dinners and lunches, with space for up to 50 attendees.
With great attractions such as Cottrell Park Golf Resort to enjoy in this area of South Wales, it makes perfect sense to book a stay in a hotel in Cardiff city centre, either for a weekend, mini-break or even longer. Visitors will have the opportunity to sample the delights of the city’s night life and choose one or more of the city’s many fantastic restaurants, but enjoy days out in the countryside, with so much to see or do.
