Had a great stay here, spacious bedroom overlooking the countryside in a quiet location. Enjoyed the food and great atmosphere in the pub.

We stayed for a wedding & it was fantastic. Hotel is truelly stunning & cant wait to stay again.

The room was lovely and clean, service very good. Breakfast was ok. The restaurant food was lovely

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. will be delighted to return sometime in the future

I have stayed in a number of hotels in Newcastle and this was the best stay. The room was spacious with a well equipped mini kitchen and we had prepared 2 good evening meals there. The bed was so comfortable and the location made the hotel quiet which is a change to the noise and sirens throughout the night in my other stays! The Manager's get-together on the Wednesday and Thursday evening of my stay was unexpected and a lovely touch - free drinks and cheese and nibbles for an hour. The staff...

Friendly and attentive staff . Nice atmosphere ..would come back again

My husband and I stayed overnight and what a pleasant night it was. We were greeted with the friendly lady at the check in desk who arranged a booking in the restrurant, the room was cosy and very clean and the bed was really comfortable. The hotel itself is beautiful both inside and out. We only had breakfast which was delicious and staff were efficient and friendly. The food in the library looked good. We had a courtyard room and were very happy with it. If you're expecting modern, corporate decor it might not be for you but we liked it and so nice to stay in a castle with character....

What a gem, nice quiet rural location but close enough to Newcastle / Gateshead. The room was spotless. No complaints whatsoever. Won’t hesitate going back

The staff and ambience of the hotel were lovely and we were sad that we couldn't stay longer.

Very comfortable hotel with great breakfast options. Walkable into central Gosforth.
