"Great location for a stop off when travelling from Cornwall back to Yorkshire. Pet friendly which suits us with our little dog. The hotel is pretty dated, in need of a refurb, stains on the apholstry & on the bathroom floor (which was actually sticky!) The reception staff was very welcoming & the parking was not an issue. "

"This is an old coaching inn in a small country town with independent shopping along the high street , which is where the hotel is located . Parking is at the rear of the hotel easily accessed from the high street . Our room ( the Broadway Suite ) was a good size with a stand alone bath tub and separate shower and was well heated . Breakfast was good with a nice choice and we had dinner there on two of our three nights , which speaks well to the quality of the food . Last but by no means least...
