"Everything about the Mitre House is outstanding. The staff is always friendly and welcoming. The room is very comfortable, clean, and quite serviceable. The breakfasts are out of this world good--table service, full English. The location is ideal for those of us who are there to see London, only a block from Paddington station which is a major transportation hub and stop along the Heathrow Express. For anyone looking for a comfortable, accessible, and welcoming experience, consider Mitre House Hotel."

"Wonderful hotel, convenient to tube stop and many sites. Staff was absolutely fantastic - EVERYONE of them - reception, restaurant, housekeeping. Couldn't have asked for friendlier or helpful staff. And I can't forget the gentleman at the door; always greeted us with a smile and a good morning/evening. Finally, don't skip the breakfast buffet; one of the best I've had in London"

"Great historic hotel in a lovely neighborhood of diplomatic missions in South Kensington. Historic & atmospheric lobby, great on-site restaurant for a quick or a proper sitdown meal & a well-stocked bar. Rooms are renovated and, while not spacious, are well-appointed with marble baths, excellent bath products & extras. Staff are super helpful and allowed a complimentary early check-in for a pair of tired travelers at 11 am. Extra blankets were provided promptly, as requested. Highly recommend."

"the hotel staff here was incredible. we get there to check our bags in and it was the kindest group of people. and my travel partner had a small medical issue and the staff went above and beyond to provide some medical supplies. the kindest and most wonderful people work at this hotel. the room was great. i cannot wait to stay here again. everyone from the bartenders to the room service staff? all incredible. i had a wonder stay here.
