We really enjoyed our stay here. The place was clean, the rooms were nice and everyone at the desk was very pleasant. It's location was superb and the quiet made it easy to rest after a long day. I appreciated the motion-censored lighting. I know other reviewers have spoken about it being "dark" and this was one of my first reactions too until I realized with all the stairs in an old building, it was incredibly Eco-friendly to only have lights come on when needed. This means reduced electricity costs = keeps affordability for me. They also don't come into your room every day to clean which I appreciated. Not only does this conserve resources, but I appreciated the privacy. Staff was very kind!
My issues: WiFi is awful. Not only have they chosen a slower option, its the minimum level of security. The further you get from the front desk, the worse it is. We were on the top floor; it took 20 minutes for a travel app to download. I wasted a ton of time just "waiting". The dining room is not available at all, if you just wanted to hang out and work a while. I get you're not serving food, but it can still be an amenity for guests with coffee/tea service since you already have the supplies on hand. Their process of communication from one shift to the next is not the best. Manager holds all information and does not seem to centralize what she knows to empower her staff. No one could tell me how to use my safe and repair tracking/info lacked.
