Location is superb- I like to be able to walk everywhere.
Service was good. Upgraded room was nice but drawers had no rings on handles and bathroom light not working. Very very hot on the top floor. room very spacious bed very clean and comfortable
It was clean, staff friendly but a bit of a strange smell on the landing . Room ok though.
Loved the rooms and the checkout time. Ideal. The staff werent the friendliest unfortunately but the hotel was great.
The carpet in the vestibule was filthy. . The elevator was broken the whole time we were there. The fact that kids can swim at a certain time only is ridiculous. Children should swim with adult supervision is correct but when I can go they should be able to go.. lastly you need a vending machine ...
Reception staff particularly helpful. Room was great
Favourite hotel we’ve stayed at for years; highly recommend it
Good restaurant with great dining options an extensive menu catering for all types of diet
Close to shopping, great gym, friendly staff & clean
Cardiff International Arena, also known as the Motorpoint Arena, first opened in 1993 with legendary singer Shirley Bassey cutting the ribbon in front of over 5000 fans. Since then it’s grown to become one of the best loved venues in Wales, with a full capacity of 7,500 standing and 5,000 seated. Located right in the city centre, it’s within easy reach of all the major hotels and amenities, and is the perfect choice for catching your favourite band when they come to town.
Although best known as a music venue, Cardiff's largest purpose-built exhibition facility offers exhibitions and conferences, as well as cultural and sporting events. Considered the most popular venue in Cardiff, it’s seen hundreds of big name acts including the Monkees, Kylie Minogue, Beyoncé, Rihanna, Iron Maiden and comedian Lee Evans. Since 2007, darts lovers have been excited to see the venue host the Premier League Darts while the auditorium hosted the Cardiff audition stages of X Factor.
From time to time the arena is even converted into an ice rink for travelling shows such as Disney on Ice. Wrestling fans flock to see the visiting WWF wrestlers, too, as well as renowned theatrical productions and blues and jazz greats. From hip hop and stadium rock to side-splitting comedians and eye-boggling magic shows, Cardiff International Arena attracts some of the biggest stars in the world.
