Find the Best Cadmore End Bed and Breakfast

"The hotel is located within easy walking distance of public transport. The room was comfortable and generally calm. Reception staff and cleaning staff were friendly and helpful. The gym is really excellent. Certainly one of the best I have used, well provisioned with excellent equipment, water, apples (a really nice touch) and towels. The only complaint is that we had to ask for the room to be 'refreshed'. "

"Had issue with people using drugs in the parking area and constant banging from the upper floors. The staff were great and tried to address our concerns. Would stay here again!"

"The room was cleaned altought the bathroom floor was having some lines of mould. The staff were ok. the houskeeper how attend us didn't know who to sort a baby cot and we have to call several times to fix it. the breakast varieaty was good mixed of english breakfast and pastries andd fruits and bread. one of the staff who was tidying the breakfast was't very polite,she was cleaning the only2 coffees machies before the close time, and I was unable to take my coffee as she was rude on her approach and didn't give alternative of apologies, very rude face. the rest of the staff didn;t see them smile or give a nice gesture.all very quiet and plain face. Maybe some training in communication and costumer service will be good. "

"The room was clean and spacious enough. The shower gel was empty, (not life threatening just annoying) as we didn’t want to unpack our toiletries from our flight as we were flying again in the early am. We had dinner at a pub nearby (walking distance) and ordered dessert at the bar to bring to our room. The dessert took nearly an hour, and they brought the wrong thing. Again- not a huge deal, but 45 min to deliver the wrong items is bizarre. The staff was kind enough, and we didn’t complain because again- not big deal stuff. We were not about to wait another 45 min for the correct treat, nor call the desk for shower gel. All in all we’d stay again. Good location close to terminal 5, and the shuttle (6 and change euros each way pp not arranged by the hotel) was convenient enough. "

"The room was small but fine for one night. The heating was not on and took a long time to heat the room once the temperature was set. The reason for the overall poor score is the staff. We had no shampoo in the dispenser, which my wife only realised when she was in the shower. I called reception, who were apologetic and said someone would be along shortly. Five minutes later a man turned up with a bottle of shower gel. I told that was not what was needed and he said he'd be back very soon. After almost ten minutes I called reception. The lady on reception left her position to bring me a shampoo. A few minutes later the original staff member turned u with the correct bottle. When walking down the corridor in the morning we were intercepted by staff THREE times to ask which room we were checking out of. We politely told them we had not yet checked out. I think they were being lazy and not checking with reception which rooms had been vacated. At breakfast there were items that ran out and replenishment was slow. A couple of other problems led my wife to complain to the duty manager. He was disinterested and borderline rude, focusing on his computer screen rather than looking at her. We accepted some IHG points as compensation. A week later, no points. I emailed the hotel and the duty manager stated "The wrong membership number was provided". That's highly unlikely as I read it out three times to ensure it was taken correctly. An average hotel with below average management."
