"The location is perfect, but parking is an issue and expensive. The breakfast we very good. No mini fridge was a disappointment and we had a really bad view. But the location really brings this up to "I would stay again"."

"Beautiful property! A bit out of the way if riding the tube. Ubers are expensive from this location. My only complaint is no variation in breakfast. They had pancakes one day, but other than that, the same thing every day for over a week."

"A wonderful stay with exceptional service! We had a fantastic stay at The Great House in Sonning and would happily return! When we first arrived, the TV in our room wasn’t working. We mentioned it to reception, and they immediately offered us two alternative rooms, which we were able to go and look at before deciding. The whole situation was handled so quickly and efficiently, and the staff couldn’t have been more helpful. The bathroom in the room we moved to was slightly smaller, but that really wasn’t an issue. The room itself was lovely, with an incredibly comfortable bed and pillows. It was also great to have heating available if needed, as well as a fan for warmer weather. We particularly loved the little touches, such as the selection of snacks and drinks in the minibar, especially the fact that the snacks were from British brands. It’s those thoughtful details that make a difference. We had dinner at the restaurant in the evening and breakfast the following morning, and both were excellent. The food was delicious, and the service was outstanding. But what really makes this hotel stand out is the people. Every member of staff we encountered was genuinely friendly, welcoming and attentive. You really get the feeling that they care about their guests and want everyone to have a wonderful experience. We absolutely loved our stay and would definitely recommend The Great House. We can’t wait to come back!"

"The hotel and staff were great. Our only issue really was that although you get early entry into the park, alot of the rides don't open until later in the day which means there's not a lot to do with smaller kids who aren't going on the skylion. The evening buffet is nice but also expensive and not really worth it for families with picky eater kids"
