"This historic cottage was just what I was looking for: charming setting, clean home, friendly and responsive host, and easy access to restaurants and pubs nearby as well as public transportation. We toured the surrounding area (Oxford, Avebury, Cotswalds) and loved returning to our quiet little house at the end of the day. Wheatley was a great village. "Overall, we enjoyed our stay in this cozy cottage. Was a bit cramped with a family, but had easy access to Windsor. We utilized the kitchen to cook which was a nice amenity. We also packed light, so the washer was utilized as well. It was advertised that there was a dryer as well, but we could not see a way to dry the clothes and found it was just a washer, not a washer/dryer combo. "We had an amazing stay at the Old Wharf Cottage in Windsor. The home is amazing and a wonderful location. We loved having the pool, bbq and area for croquet. It was easy to get around town with our rental car or Uber. The hosts were great and easy to connect with as needed. This was one of the key highlights of our two weeks in the UK.
