"We were welcomed and shown our room which was very comfortable, especially the beds. It's a lovely pub right in the centre of town and a minute's walk from the ferry. Only one key between the two of us. We're not a couple so may have wanted to go home at different times which would've been awkward. The bathroom layout was weird. The bath was placed under a sloping ceiling so you couldn't stand up for a shower, and the door didn't lock. Nice hot water though."

I also have difficulty with stairs, so I chose the hotel because it has a lift. It also has plenty of parking and the staff were very friendly. "The socialable Hawthorns property was perfect for us, a family ranging from 16 to 80 years old plus dogs. The "olds" and teenager slept downstairs whilst the middle aged slept upstairs. It is really well equipped with everything you need in the kitchen, to the washing machine and tumble dryer - must for us as a large family. The location was perfect too, lovely dog walking routes straight from the door. We enjoyed our morning walks to the beach. The picturesque village has a pub and shop which...

"Stayed with my young family, sister and mum in this extremely well equiped lodge which was situated on a very quiet part of Shorefield holiday park. The lodge was amazing value for money and contained everything needed for a relaxing break. We have stayed at Shorefield before and its a great location with indoor/outdoor pools, steam room, sauna, arcades etc. Amazing break and we will be renting this lodge again!"
