The staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was clean and spacious athough it was located at the back of the Inn across a beer barrel storage area. The Welsh Breakfast was excellent. The car park was very convenient, as was the situation of the Black Boy.

Our host Jan was very welcoming and helpful. She gave great recommendations on places to visit around the town. The room was lovely and comfortable with everything we needed, plus teas, coffee, and a bottle of wine. We really enjoyed our stay at Victoria Guest House and would love to visit again!

My husband booked 3 nights here as a birthday treat - and it exceeded my expectations. Both our bedroom and the public spaces were lovely, the food was excellent and the service was exceptional. We will definitely be back!!

What a fantastic experience to stay in such a building

We (2 couples) stayed in Ty'n Rhos Country House for the Easter weekend and decided to also stay for dinner 2 out of 3 nights. We were amazed by the comfort, service, and quality. The location was great, an easy drive to the nearby castles, Snowdon railway, and other historical sites. We took the train from London to Bangor and hired a car there. Hotel staff went over and above to cater for all our needs (e.g. finding car rental, food allergies). Even though we weren't lucky with the weather...

Great base for walking the Llanberis path up Snowden. The hosts were extremely welcoming, warm, and knowledgable about the local area. A selection of teas and coffee are available in the lounge area which felt much needed after the climb! Room was clean and well maintained. Breakfast was lovely. Would definitely recommend :)

The hotel is a sizeable place, nicely decorated and the grounds are well maintained. Website pictures of the rooms are generous... but no complaints. Everywhere clean and tidy, room was comfortable (albeit a wee bit smaller than expected), parking was safe & easy and breakfast delicious. Location is excellent. Beautiful part of the world. The £97 for a nights stay with breakfast inc was good value, and we would definitely stay again.

Booked this last minute and were so happy we did. Location is magnificent and with views to die for. We stayed in the cottage which was just perfect for us. Had a fully equipped kitchen that we did not use as we were only for only one night but perfect for anyone staying longer and with small children We chose to eat dinner in the restaurant and are real foodies and love fine dining. Little disappointed with the overall experience. Food prep and quality could be stepped up a notch. ...

Great place to stay.

Booked 2 family rooms for 8 people. Both rooms were a good size with ensuite facilities - one with an adjoining room for the children; the other with a bunk bed - very clean. Tea/coffee/biscuits/kettle in room. Rural setting, but easy to find. Delicious breakfast served 7.30-9 (traditional cooked breakfast, cereals, fresh fruit, yogurt, toast, tea/coffee/juice). An extremely good choice of hotel Excellent in every way

Wonderful stay! Accommodation was very clean, well equipped and lovely and warm after a day walking in the rain! Food was great and staff very attentive. Wonderful views, very peaceful and the cabana was a bit different which the kids loved especially going up the ladder to bed.

Central for University and surroundings. Clean accomodation and nice place to stay

Having stayed twice now, everything is good about this Country House!
