"Great for a short stay and a good base for exploring the area. The room was good, food good with choices for veggies, and the breakfast especially good. Staff were all very friendly and helpful."

"Wonderful character inn set in heart of village. Friendly staff and good choice of drinks. Dog friendly. Breakfast £15pp good variety of continental and freshly cooked breakfast. £15 to park in their very small carpark but would recommend the carpark 2mins walk free after 5pm and before 9am. Room lovely, pillows could do with replacing."

"We live locally and have stayed may times and alway have enjoyed our stay. We live walking in the area and enjoy coming back to use the sports centre have some great food and have afew drinks..... ❤️"

"Hotel was welcoming staff very helpful and room comfortable. Food in bar fantastic, and an excellent choice of drinks. Breakfast I would prefer 1price for all items not cereal separately charged or toast"
