"I would not stay here again. It’s basically a hostel. Upon check in we asked for a room away from the elevator. They gave us one right next to it. The 2 twin rooms are the tiniest hotel rooms I’ve ever stayed in. There’s no room to move around, no room to store things. It’s insane. The walls are paper thin. The doors don’t close right so they all have to be slammed in order to shut. There’s only 3 plugs in the entire room. Zero in the bathroom. The bathroom is small. You get 2 shower towels and zero other towels. Not a single hand towel. So weird. The tile floor was cracked in the bathroom. The grout was missing. The floor of the shower looks like someone attacked it with a knife. This is super low budget. Shockingly the two highlights were the bed and the pillows. Those were actually quite nice… which was odd. Also, the AC set up was stupid and didn’t work well. It was almost like motion censored so if you weren’t in the room or if you were sleeping it would turn off? I don’t know but it was hot at night. Which made sleeping difficult. Basically I hated this hotel."

"Here’s a more polished and professional version that still conveys your disappointment: It was my first time in London, and I chose this hotel primarily because of its excellent location, which did not disappoint. The hotel itself has great potential, and the facilities were enjoyable. Unfortunately, my experience was negatively impacted by the service at the front desk. I found several staff members to be unprofessional and unhelpful, which made what should have been an exciting trip much less enjoyable. It’s a shame because the hotel and its location are truly great. With better customer service and a more welcoming attitude from the reception team, this could be an outstanding place to stay. I sincerely hope management takes steps to improve the guest experience, as the staff’s behavior left such a negative impression that I would hesitate to return despite all the hotel’s positive qualities."

"The view is amazing. My daughter had a larger window rm933 with a Tower Bridge view that was spectacular. The only challenge was trying to keep the room cool. They offer fans which is helpful. I had a corner room that was smaller with a smaller window. It didn’t seem to get as hot and had the same great view. Rm953 we all agreed the view was worth it! The breakfast was delicious and the staff was always very helpful"

"Concierge staff were amazing and helpful. The staff at the service desk not so much. We booked the terrace suite with balcony. We asked to have the key to open the balcony and they told us no, because we may hurt ourselves and only there for one night. (We have stayed in this room before and had no issue) the gentleman at the counter in the morning was apologetic and seemed to be j sure as to why we had been declined the full use of the room we had paid for. So we ended up with a room with the view of our balcony at an additional cost and unable to use. Disappointing. Also no soap in the handwashing was annoying, but I have hand sanitizer. Everything else was fine. And we have previously had lovely stays here."

"The staff were really great, friendly and efficient. The room was very good except for the shower, no water pressure and the water was either boiling hot or cold. I did not have breakfast at the hotel. The hotel is ideally located next to the tube station, although the area itself is a little grotty"
